PuranTrip.com – Terms & Conditions 

1. General 

PuranTrip.com (“PuranTrip”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by PuranTrip Travel Services Pvt Ltd. By using this website and its services—including flight bookings, hotel reservations, tours, car rentals, and travel insurance—you (“User”, “you”, “your”) agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. 

2. Flight Tickets 

2.1 Applicability of Airline Terms & Conditions 

All airline tickets booked via PuranTrip.com are subject to the airline’s own terms, including cancellation and refund policies. PuranTrip does not alter or override these conditions. 

2.2 Role of PuranTrip 

PuranTrip is a facilitator and consolidator. The contract of carriage is strictly between the User and the airline. 

2.3 Airlines’ Rights 

Airlines may reschedule, reroute, change, or cancel flights or itineraries without notice to PuranTrip. PuranTrip is not liable for any direct or incidental losses due to such changes. Airlines usually notify passengers directly. 

2.4 Ticket Restrictions & Fares 

Tickets from the same airline may have differing rules and restrictions. Many special fares are non-refundable. Users must review all fare rules before booking. PuranTrip holds no liability for losses from non-refundable fares or changes. 

2.5 Baggage Allowance 

Baggage policies vary by airline and fare type. Some fares include only hand baggage; checked baggage may incur additional fees. Users must verify baggage rules and charges with the airline. 

2.6 Code Share Flights 

Certain routes may be operated under code share agreements. If applicable, this will be disclosed during booking, provided the ticketing airline shares this information with PuranTrip. 

2.7 Pricing & Payment 

Prices shown include base fare, government taxes, and PuranTrip convenience fees. Full payment is required before confirming bookings. Statutory taxes and fees apply on travel date. 

Infant Fare Rules: 

• Infant must be under 24 months for the entire itinerary. 

• Infants 24 months or older on return require a child fare. 

• Infants/children must be accompanied by an adult. 

2.8 Travel Documents 

Users must possess valid travel documents (passport, visa, ID). PuranTrip is not liable for travel denial due to missing/invalid documents. Name on ticket must match travel documents. 

Some international flights require mandatory passport details/DoB, collected as needed. 

2.9 Airline Check-In 

Users must check airline check-in timings: 

• Domestic: Airport 2 hours before, web check-in 48 hours pre-flight. 

• International: Airport 4 hours before, web check-in 48 hours pre-flight. 

Carry valid ID, passport, and age proofs. 

2.10 Use of Flight Segments 

Not traveling on the onward segment may cancel the entire booking (including return/connecting flights). PuranTrip is not responsible for alternate bookings or refunds besides airline policy. 

2.11 Booking Changes 

Subject to airline charges plus PuranTrip service fees. Users may request changes via PuranTrip or do so themselves via airlines. 

2.12 Refunds 

• Submit refund requests to PuranTrip at least 24 hours before departure. 

• Late cancellations must be handled directly with airline or call PuranTrip immediately. 

• Refunds processed per airline rules and after PuranTrip receives airline refund. 

• PuranTrip convenience fee is non-refundable. 

• Cancellations with airlines must be notified to PuranTrip for refund processing. 

• Refunds credited to original payment method. 

• Discounts/promos deducted from refunds for partially used tickets. 

3. Hotel Bookings 

• PuranTrip acts solely as a booking facilitator; contract is between User and hotel/property. 

• Bookings subject to hotel policies including cancellation and amendments. 

• Special requests (early check-in, late check-out, non-smoking) subject to availability. 

• User responsible for correct guest information and check-in requirements. 

• Additional charges during stay (minibar, damages, services) payable direct to hotel. 

• Non-refundable service/convenience fees apply to PuranTrip charges. 

• Refunds issued post confirmation from the hotel. 

• Additional Taxes and Local Charges: 
  Local taxes, tourism fees, city/municipal charges or resort fees (e.g., Dirham charges in Dubai, European city taxes, Malaysia tourism tax) are not included in the booking price. These fees are collected at the property directly and are the User’s responsibility. Non-payment may cause check-in refusal or penalties. 

4. Tour Bookings 

• Tours and activities are offered by third-party vendors; PuranTrip is not operator/provider. 

• Tour details, requirements, and restrictions provided at booking. 

• Vendor cancellation and refund policies apply. 

• PuranTrip not liable for operational issues, damages, or delays caused by vendors. 

5. Car Rentals 

• Car rentals booked through third-party providers; User’s agreement is with the rental company. 

• User must meet provider’s age, licensing, and insurance requirements. 

• Rates may exclude extras (fuel, insurance, GPS, tolls). 

• Vehicle condition and return subject to rental provider’s policies. 

• Additional charges and disputes are handled directly with rental company. 

6. Travel Insurance 

• Optional travel insurance policies offered via third-party insurers. 

• Insurance contract directly between User and insurer. 

• Users must review policy coverage, claims, exclusions before purchase. 

• All claims and queries must be handled with the insurer. 

7. Data Privacy & Use of Information 

• Personal data collected and processed per Indian laws and our Privacy Policy. 

• Data used for booking, customer support, marketing (opt-in), and legal compliance. 

• Shared with third-party suppliers only as necessary to fulfill services. 

• Reasonable security measures used, but online transmission cannot be guaranteed fully secure. 

• Users responsible for account confidentiality.

8. Legal Clauses 

8.1 Limitation of Liability 

PuranTrip acts as an intermediary; is not liable for third-party acts or omissions including but not limited to loss, injury, delay, cancellations, or disruptions caused by airlines, hotels, vendors, or insurers. 

8.2 Indemnification 

Users agree to indemnify PuranTrip and its affiliates against any claims, losses, or expenses arising from violation of these Terms or misuse of the portal. 

8.3 Intellectual Property 

All website content and trademarks belong to PuranTrip or licensors and cannot be copied or distributed without permission. 

8.4 Governing Law & Jurisdiction 

These Terms are governed by Indian law and disputes will be resolved exclusively in courts located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. 

8.5 Amendments & Severability 

PuranTrip may update these Terms anytime; continued use signifies acceptance. Invalid provisions do not affect remaining terms.
